Dark Justicar ShadowHeart X Reader
Synopsis: Years have passed since the Elder Brains defeat. After your party disbanded and spread across FaeRun you left ShadowHeart unable to support her dark path with Shar. Years later you have found the truth of her past and have decided to try and reach the good in her one last time. Now ShadowHeart is forcrd to make a decision her Lady Shar or the Love of her Life you. However, Shar has other plans.
..........................................
Being Shar’s Chosen was unforgiving. Shadowheart was a Mother Superior, sacrifice by sacrifice: bloodshed by bloodshed, Shadowheart did everything to keep her place.
“No…” She retaliated against Shar for the first time. Her clenched fists drew blood from her palms as she stared at your chained form. She hadn't seen you in years having part ways when she chose Shar over you. “My lady, take me instead. You have other children to damn.” She begs. Coming closer her hands shake and she feels shame as she reaches for you. “I will not sacrifice you…” She softly whispered, a pained expression appearing on her face as she looked at you wrapped in Shar’s chains. “I won’t allow it.” She willed it not to be so as she came closer her faith faltering.
You stared back at ShadowHeart before you looked to the cults polished floor. The chains dug into your skin painfully, the weight feeling inescapable. Perhaps under all those cold and cruel layers her friend was still in there somewhere. That kind Selunite she truly was underneath it all.
ShadowHeart having learned the truth of her past, of her abduction felt anger at her parents negligence and not Shar. She decided to go back to the Cult, decided to pledge herself and her loyalty to her Goddess forever more. She was rewarded for her choice and became a Mother Superior.
You came to tell her you found her family but the woman before you didn't care for them, only you. And Shar didn't want her loyalty broken. Her Chosen to betray her. Shivering in the deity's presence she whispered dark things to the cleric. Obsessive things. Ideas so twisted they only had a home in the shadows.
As you stared at her begging her to help you leave you heard the whispers in your mind. ShadowHeart could have you but only if she was willing to fully control you in the Cult.
You watched as Shadowheart got a chill run down her spine. The things Shar was whispering in her head about you… you watched the half elf try to shake it off, to pretend like she didn’t hear the Goddess’s words.
“I…” Shadowheart gripped her head, her hair falling onto her face, sweat was lining her brow as she struggled to keep her eyes open, to focus on the figure before her. “I can’t…I won’t….” She weakly protests.
But that was a lie. She could and she would. Because you were always her weakness, her one chink in her armor.
Shars touch was gentle and it felt cool like shadows cast by Moonlight. She brushed her Chosens hair back and whispered evil delightful things. Things that made both people present shiver.
A lover. A reward. A present from her Lady. If ShadowHeart could not kill you then she must own you and share you with Shar.
ShadowHeart had a tome in her hand, one that was not there before. One that could alter and rewrite memories. Another gift from her Goddess. Her Lady of Sorrows, Mistress of Memories.
You were an Adventurer, a powerful Magic User. An experienced Sorceress and even rarer an Oracle. You would be useful for their cause. Lady Shar had more need for you alive than dead.
”She would be…a fine addition…” You shook your head attempting to get Shar out, your mind feeling violated by her darkness.
Shadowheart tried to ignore the voice in her head. The soft touch of her Lady’s presence brushing against her skin, the feeling of those cold fingers running through her hair, pushing it back from her sweaty face. To others Shar was a terrifying force of absolute power, a bringer of absolute oblivion. But with Shadowheart she was a beloved almost motherly presence. A firm guiding hand that pushed her towards bloodshed and greatness.
“Please…my Lady….I’m begging you….” You stared at Shar in terrified awe your seer sight allowing you to see the goddess in all her dark glory. The woman was gorgeous, with purple smoky skin. Her headdress hid her eyes but not her cruel smile. The gold and precious gems that adorned her silk clothing were from the heavens her robes made of the night itself.
"ShadowHeart. Your family-" You finally find your voice as you try to convince your friend but ShadowHeart frowned. Her family was here. Lady Shar was her Mother, this cult was her home.
"Her family is with us." Shar declares. "But you may join us child." The Goddess offers her voice demanding but soothing as she spoke, like silk and smoke and venom. The tome in ShadowHearts hands begins to flip pages before it stops Shars hand keeping the page flat. "One way or another." Shar hums granting her Chosen her power, her blessing to do her bidding.
ShadowHeart could keep you. Her Chosen deserved to be pampered by her Goddess after all. Shadowheart gripped the tome so hard that you thought it would rip in half, her knuckles were white as she stared at you tied in chains.
She could keep you.
The words echoed through ShadowHearts mind, again and again and again. In your mind. It was a dizzying display of power with dark promises.
The idea of keeping you was… perfect. Everything Shadowhearts ever wanted, her dream come true. You began shaking your eyes fixed on ShadowHeart and the tome. You would be a reward from her Lady. You could feel Shadowhearts thoughts, she could keep you safe and away from the cruel outside world. But she knew the price she would have to pay. She knew what was expected of her. She knew what her Lady desired.
“I am yours, always…” Shadowheart whispered, feeling the words like poison on her tongue. She felt the surge of her Lady’s power through her own, a coldness running through her veins. You watched her arms glow with the surge but at the same time…a part of her felt happy? Her Lady was rewarding her. She loved her.
Too bad you were the prize.
Shadowheart ran a finger over a page in the book, staring at the words on it, her mind conjuring up a scenario.
The voice in her head was getting harder to ignore, a demanding, almost sickeningly sweet tone to it. Her eyes drifted to the tome in her hands. It opened to the page of Its own accord, and she could almost feel Shar’s power surging from the pages. Her eyes locked with yours and you knew exactly what she wanted frm you.
“Yes….” She didn’t even realize how obediently she was agreeing, the words leaving her lips like a sweet poison. “She will join us, my lady.” Shadowheart echoed the words of her Goddess aloud.
"ShadowHeart-!" You protest before Shar waved her hand. The sound of gold clicking against each other filled the room as her bangles moved. A silk cloth was summoned and carefully wrapped around your mouth silencing you. The black cloth adorned with Shars glorious night kept you from trying to escape by convincing ShadowHeart to let you go or Spellcasting. With your hands and mouth occupied you were at their mercy.
Pulling against your chains you yell, tears dripping down your face at the betrayal but the sound is muffled, making Shar smirk amused. The Goddess is being oddly gentle despite the cruelty she'd show anyone else in a similar situation. Shar truly wanted her Mother Superior happy. Her present unharmed.
“Shhhh…” Shadowheart whispers to you, and with your minds connected you sense a part of her felt a pang of guilt. A whisper of the old self she used to be, but it was swiftly crushed by her Lady’s Power and Presence.
Shadowheart felt the dark magic surging through her, the tome was practically humming with the power of her Lady. She let her eyes drift back down to the open book, staring at the words, feeling her hand tracing them over and over as she stared at the dark script.
“Stop struggling...” Shadowheart’s words were gentle, but firm.
"...!" You pull at the magical chains binding you, a loud rattling echoing in the otherwise silent temple hallway as they clash into the floor. The cuffs dig into your wrists but they are padded keeping you from truly harming yourself. Your cries are muffled as you struggle clearly afraid.
"The spell is painless..." Shar promises urging ShadowHeart to read it, gently guiding her Chosen closer to her prize. "I am a Goddess of my word. A Goddess who rewards her children." Shar hums. Shadowheart felt a pang of guilt again as she stared at her struggling friend. Her hand traced over the words of the tome, her ladies magic washing over her in waves.
Painless. Rewards.
Those words rang in ShadowHearts mind, in yours. She knew her Lady didn’t lie. Why would she? But she still couldn’t shake the guilt. She felt the soft brush of Shar’s touch against her cheek, coaxing her to look up at the Goddess.
Shadowheart took a deep breath before her eyes flickered back to Miriam, looking at her wide, fearful eyes.
“It is quite painless….” Shadowheart found herself echoing Shar’s words, looking at her Goddess for affirmation. Her fingers skim over the text of the book, tracing the words that would be sealing your fate.
Your heart was racing, your eyes going from Shadowheart to the book. You yank at your chains again your entire body trembling.
“My Lady.” ShadowHearts voice was soft, quieter. And you watched her Lady’s hand slide onto her shoulder as if to gently reassure her that it was alright.
“Tell me… when do I begin?” Shar lightly brushed a lock of hair from ShadowHeart's face, a gesture that was almost motherly if the diety wasn't so manipulative. She leaned closer to her chosen, her lips almost touching her ear as she spoke. Her voice was soft, but it was loud enough for you to hear every word. There was almost an edge of excitement in it.
"You may begin now my dear." Shar whispered, and ShadowHeart felt a shiver run down her spine. She wasn't sure whether it was from Shar or her own excitement as her eyes met your own.
You fought against your binds harder, your eyes filled with tears as you stared at Shadowheart, silently begging her to stop, to think this through. But your cries were silenced by the thick piece of black silk that was bound around your mouth. The dark fabric was embroidered with shimmering silver thread, the silk was cool to the touch as ShadowHeart touched it. She slowly traced over the fabric covering your lips.
Shars touch was oddly gentle, the Goddess brushing a lock of ShadowHeart’s hair back from her face, her fingers softly gliding down her cheek as they both observed you.
Shadowheart straightened up, towering over your form in the chains. Your eyes were wide in a panicked state. The black silk felt smooth under ShadowHeart's trembling fingers, she let them linger for a moment, her hand hovering over the fabric before she finally pulled away and started to recite the words of the spell aloud.
Every syllable seemed to echo in the chamber, the air growing heavy with magic as Shar's power surged through them. ShadowHeart felt it washing over her, the sensation like a cold waterfall cascading down her spine, seeping into her bones.
It was intoxicating.
And for you it was like a fog was settling over your brain. It became harder to focus it became harder to feel afraid.
ShadowHearts gaze flicked back to Shar, the Goddess watching her every move, eyes filled with cold excitement. “You are doing quite well dear one…” Shar whispered, her eyes locked on ShadowHeart with a gaze that could either be prideful or cruel.
ShadowHeart was trembling now, the feeling of her Goddess’ power swirling around her was overwhelming like a drug. Her own thoughts were slipping away from her, blending with her Lady’s presence like smoke. Their combined power left no space for you in your own mind.
The words kept flowing from her mouth, the tome hanging from her fingertips like a lifeline. She found herself unable more than ever to refuse her Ladies commands, to argue or disagree with her.
The feeling scared you. Mind muddled you still attempted to struggle as the magic surrounded you, the spell weaving itself around your form. Shadowheart watched with fascination as her beloveds eyes which had started off as scared began to glaze over. Her head began to spin and she felt oddly calm. She felt safe. The spell was taking effect, ShadowHeart could see it in your eyes, feel it in your soul.
The glaze forms a hazy, almost protective covering in your eyes. The fear was slipping away and replaced with what almost looked like calm.
ShadowHeart took a deep breath, her heart beating faster. She could feel her Ladies power almost *laughing* inside of her.
“Such a good girl….” Shar’s voice purred, and ShadowHeart felt her heart flutter at the praise. Your struggles slowly faded away as the spell continued to weave itself around your mind, your body starting to relax, the muscles that had been so taut before started to loosen. It was as if the spell was slowly washing away your fears and doubts, replacing them with a sense of calm and trust.
Your eyes still held a hint of confusion, but that was slowly slipping away, being replaced with something else.
ShadowHeart could see it happening. And it excited her.
"Keep going dear..." Shadowheart heard Shar whisper in her ear, a hint of excitement in her voice. The gag fell from the Oracles mouth as Shar waved her hand and the chains disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Your arms reached out your eyes hazy as Shars magic wiggled into your head changing your memories.
"My Goddess... My Mother Superior..." Uou whisper in a love sick haze admiring ShadowHeart and Shar. ShadowHeart felt a shiver run down her spine as your voice came out in a love sick haze. Your eyes were wide and dilated, your voice coming out with an odd dreamy-like quality to it.
Mother Superior.
ShadowHeart felt her chest flutter at the words.
My
The single word echoed through her head, a possessive, almost jealous feeling taking over her body. You could feel it and you shivered wanting her to take you, to own you. Her fingers gripped the tome tighter your subservient emotions making her swallow.
Your gaze was fixed on Shadowheart, there was no fear in your eyes, no disgust or hate in them. Just… devotion. The spell was almost complete, you would soon fully belong to ShadowHeart and they would forever serve Shar together. ShadowHeart felt her heart racing as the final words of the spell began to form in her mouth. She could feel her Lady’s power surging through her, the tome in her hand was trembling slightly as she gripped it tighter.
She wanted this, she needed this. You needed her.
The room was thick with magic, the air filled with the scent of dark smoke and moonlight. “Almost…” Her Lady’s voice whispered, the sound of it sending a jolt through the both of uou, sharp and sweet like pain, like pleasure. The spell was almost complete.
ShadowHeart could see the transformation happening right in front of her. Your entire being was changing, shifting.
Your expression was no longer a mix of fear and panic, but soft and submissive. Your eyes were still hazy, but they now held something else in them. Devotion, Obedience.
Submission.
Your were now hers. And Shar's.The transformation was almost too easy.
It was as if something inside of your mind had snapped, your expression switching from fear to something soft and docile. ShadowHeart could see the devotion in your eyes, the submission that had replaced your fight.
It was surreal, almost like a switch had been flicked in your mind, and it sent a shiver of excitement down ShadowHeart's spine.
“Almost finished my dear…” Shar’s voice washed over her, and she felt her body react, her grip on the tome tightening. The spell was over and the transformation almost complete. Lady Shar let go of ShadowHeart and glided towards you, her form floating over the temples polished stone.
As you reached out for your Goddess the deity gently touched you, tilting your head up which caused you to close your eyes in bliss. Lady Shars voice filled your mind as the Lady marked you as hers.
ShadowHeart watched with a mix of fascination and excitement as her Lady floated over to you, the diety's form was almost ethereal, like a dream.
You reached out your hand to your goddess, your eyes closed in bliss as Shar gently lifted your chin, their connection now forming a link between them.
Lady Shar’s voice was like silk and smoke, a smooth and sweet sound that filled your head, causing your body to shiver softly.
The connection was made, Shar’s mark now on you, there was no doubt in anyone’s mind who you belonged to. Your hair darkened as all Shars subjects did. Similar to Selune and white hair, Shar had black. Your locks darkened until there were jet black like the night sky, like Shadow Hearts
As Lady Shar made her claim on the Oracle, your features began to change.
The change was subtle, but it was there. It was a sign of your submission, a reminder to all that you belonged to Shar now. Body mind and soul.
ShadowHeart couldn't help but watch in awe as the transformation took place. The once bright and sunny Mage now looked like a dark replica of her own appearance. When your eyes opened, they were no longer the same color but a purple gray. You were truly Shars now.
ShadowHeart watched as her Lady placed a gentle kiss on the Oracle's forehead, the gesture almost affectionate. She felt something in her chest, something she didn't quite understand. Your clothes changed and morphed as well. Your adventuring outfit was gone, turned to ash. As ShadowHeart watched, amazed, your once practical and comfortable adventuring outfit began to shift and change, the fabric melting like black ink.
New clothing appeared on you, as if conjured out of the darkness. The material was fine and expensive looking, jet black and clinging to your form.
You were now dressed in the official regalia of Shar’s High Priests. ShadowHeart felt her breath catch in her throat as you stood there, clothed in the regalia of Shar's High Priests. The fabric of the robes hugged your form perfectly, the material shimmering in the candlelight as if it was woven from the shadows themselves.
It was a vision.
You looked like a High Priestess of Shar through and through. Everything about you screamed that she belonged to the Mistress of the Night. Shar helped you stand, the Oracle's legs shaky after the transformation. Golden jewelry mimicking the goddesses' own appeared as Shar pulled away. Bangles and a circlet with diamonds and jewels hung around your head.
You were perfection and ShadowHearts gift. ShadowHeart felt her heart flutter as she watched Shar helped you to your feet, the High Priests legs wobbly from the transformation she had just endured. The way the Goddess’s power was so effortlessly used was intoxicating to see.
You, now adorned with the jewelry that mimicked Lady Shar's, looked like a piece of living art. You were perfect, and you were ShadowHearts.
"My Heart!" You called before you stumbled when Shar pulled away, allowing the transformed to run into ShadowHearts awaiting arms. You fell into her embrace and melted into the woman's affection humming content.
You seemed to melt into her embrace, your body was soft. You submitted to the touch of your Mother Superior. Shars mark rested over your heart, the Goddess burning herself into your mind with her magic and tying them by a psychical bond as well. ShadowHeart had a matching one.
As you melted into ShadowHeart's arms, the bond between them was completed. Shar's mark was now seared into your mind and body, forever connecting you all.
A psychical bond was now formed, ShadowHeart felt something in her chest respond to their connection. A deep thud, thud, thud that was strangely familiar and new all at once. You took ShadowHearts face into your hands, your touch soft and delicate. Your eyes were no longer afraid, but filled with devotion and adoring affection.
ShadowHeart leaned into your touch, feeling the warmth of your fingertips on her face, the sensation causing her heart to flutter in her chest. You leaned forward kissing the Powerful Cleric. The Goddess seemed to enjoy it proud of herself. ShadowHeart felt her heart skip a beat as you leaned forward capturing her lips in another soft but desperate kiss. The moment felt like something out of a dream, a perfect moment snatched out of time and place.
She could feel the presence of Shar watching, enjoying the display of affection as much as them. The kiss deepened, your lips warm and soft against hers. And then you fell limp into ShadowHearts hold.
"They are exhausted but they'll recover." Shar promises ShadowHeart. "They needs rest."
“Of course, my Lady.”
ShadowHeart cradled you in her arms, feeling your body fall limp against her. She was exhausted, drained from the transformation and the magic that had been used on you. It was all a lot for one person to go through, even a strong one like you.
ShadowHeart brushed a tendril of dark hair from your face, her expression soft and almost worried. “Will they need anything-” She began stressed, but Shar’s hand gently touched her shoulder to quiet her.
“She needs nothing more than rest, dear one.”
Shadowheart felt herself relax slightly at her Lady’s words, a sense of reassurance washing over her. The Mistress of the Night knew best after all.
“Bring them to their chambers.” Shar commanded, and ShadowHeart couldn’t do anything but bow her head in obedience. "They will adjust, their mind will try to recover memories... try to remember their old life but they are mine now." Shar hums. "The first week will be rough. Sleep with them do not leave them alone, their mind is fragile until the spell settles. Their may be nightmares. Pray to summon me or ease them back to sleep." ShadowHeart nodded, her arms instinctively tightening around you as the words sunk in.
The first week would be difficult, but she understood the importance of it. The transformation was a massive change, even for a mind as strong as yours. And ShadowHeart was determined to be there for you throughout all of it.
“I’ll stay by their side the whole time. I’ll do anything I can to make sure they recover well, my Lady.” ShadowHeart promised, her determination clear in her voice. Shar nods and then the Goddess disappears allowing ShadowHeart to be alone with her new lover.
High Priestess and Oracle. When you were better you'd serve the Lady and your Mother Superior well.
