Cults usually are based on holy-like figures of the past and with how tf! Graecie refers to her magic as blessing instead of as a plus side of bonding with a dragon.

Interesting implication with this idea is that bells have standard 4 different colors brass, bronze, chrome, and nickel… those last two is rather similarly colored to iron isn’t it.

Welp its that time again

So finally caught up with the doppelgänger stuff and I have thoughts.

We know that tf!legs has got a black and white mentality. I can’t help but imagine him thinking himself to be on the good side ‘of course he’s a good person he’s on the Good side he’s helping people.’ Ignore the questionable actions we’ve heard the kingdom do its f i n e. But if he’s good then the doppelgänger must be bad it’s hurting his friends it’s using his face to hurt his friends. Im imagining legs was seeing this happen and thinking this is Thistle Hill all over again. Something of his is being used to do harm, first his failed experiments and now his actual face. I can’t help but see this as one massive parallel to himself. One good one bad.

It’ll be interesting to see how this will mess with his mentality. He could either double down on this or have some trauma induced reflection. Especially mixed with the books if they are to believed could pose a problem with how often eye contact was made between legs and doppelgänger. I don’t trust it but who knows!
