Soo this year I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes so I'm still fairly new but this is from the perspective of someone who has been diagnosed. This does briefly touch on being in an intimate relationship but you can skip over that and still be able to read it if that makes you uncomfortable.

When you found out about your diagnosis, he was there and has been there for every step of the way.
