Summary: Auradon is in chaos and everyone is being put under Audrey’s sleeping spell, including you, Evie starts to worry that she wont be able to wake you up with true loves kiss.
“Don’t freak out, it’s okay, ‘cause true love can save the day...”
All of Auradon had fallen silent with the spell Audrey had cursed, the rest of the VK’s had made their way back to Evie’s 4Hearts starter cottage. Upon seeing Dizzy and the twins fast asleep on the sofa, Evie’s heart began to flutter as she remembered that [Y/N] was also inside somewhere, she ran into her study to find your sweet sleeping body laid across the floor.
“Oh [Y/N]...” Evie kneels down beside your body and gently moves a bit of hair out of your face, she couldn’t help but feel this was partly her own fault. Mal and Uma makes their way into the study to find Evie looking at them.
“It got [Y/N] too, Evie I’m so sorry” Mal tried to comfort her the best she could, but she knew it wouldn’t really make any difference.
“[Y/N], [Y/N] wake up, [Y/N]” Evie tried shaking you awake a few times with o success. Uma looked between the two of them a little confused before folding her arms and taking a step forward.
“They are spelled, is she not a fast learner?” She said turning her attention Mal
“She’s emotionally involved okay...” Mal defended.
“Well in that case, she should be able to wake them up, true loves kiss? works every time”
There was a slightly awkward silence in the air before Evie looked back down at your sleeping face “we haven’t exactly said the ‘L’ word yet... can we have a little privacy please?”
Uma and Mal exchange looks before exiting the room to check on the others, to leave Evie in peace
“Don’t panic, it’s okay, ‘cause true love can save the day.... and I think we feel the same...”
Evie couldn’t help but express her feelings to herself wondering whether true loves kiss would work.
Do they love me? Or do they love me not? Do I love them? And is it strong enough? One Kiss, it all comes down to this...
Mal came back into the room and stood by the door.
“What if it doesn’t work? What if it’s not true love?” Evie turned herself back to you but looking at Mal for answers. A small smile came from her best friend.
“It’ll work.” Mal looked over at you before leaving Evie by herself once more.
It all comes down to this, one kiss, one kiss, so here I go...
“So here I go...”
Evie slowly leaned down and placed a gentle kiss to your lips, before standing back up, fearing it had failed; to have your eyes open and met with her own.
