The little rex just - sat down and let us kill it. It was so sad- but we were so hungry. Thank you for your snackrifice little rex.

And the nycta? Bad luck. We were dead out of stamina- you just fell in the worst spot possible.

Also… we stole the titans kill off of a pair of ceratos. We still killed it but it was being hunted by the ceratos first.

how do ppl not always feel paranoid while playing evirma ?? like I've seen so many streams and clips where people are just sitting around and idly chatting and enjoying the scenery like how do you do that ??? how do you look at the forest and think 'wow, those graphics are really pretty!' rather than 'that forest is full of bushes potential enemies could be hiding in, I must be wary'

in legacy I was still pretty paranoid but it wasn't as bad, like I could stop and take a rest in a field or on a rock once in awhile and just chill. and most of the time it was pretty and I could enjoy the scenery without the constant looming in the back of my mind whispering 'you are vulnerable. you are weak and exposed. what if there's an allo hiding in the woods behind you, waiting to attack?'

but in evirma ?? honestly I can't convince my mind to rest and chill for 5 seconds unless I'm underwater or in the air.

am I a fully grown utahraptor in an empty field? I heard more utahs like an hour ago, they could be cannibals. they could be nearby. THEY COULD BE LOOKING FOR ME RIGHT NOW. THEY COULD BE LOOKING AT ME RIGHT NOW

am I a young carno in a peaceful jungle at night? the night vision can only go so far and my footsteps seem so loud. I could be in immediate danger and I wouldn't know until I was dead. the world is full of dangers and I must always remain alert

am I a stego in a herd with like five others? they could be the herbivore equivalent of cannibals. they could turn on me. there could be a mix packing carni group coming towards us and we would have no clue

I think the paranoia was beat into me so badly by legacy AND evirma that the same paranoia is what I default to when I'm starting a new survival game. I immediately assume everything is out to get me, big or small

INTRODUCTION TO ALL 3 PEOPLE:

There was a gaming convention hosted requesting beta testers for a very new form of virtual reality. In reality it was a form of consciousness transfer technology only seen in films like Avatar- the link units. This is not disclosed to the beta testers hired, three of which are as follows-

Daniel F. Hinkins [aka Ret]

Francis H. Lazarus [aka Goldrush]

Lyla M. Fastiel [aka Birch]

Daniel, a scrawny bio-science major with short curly black hair and a honey-like skin tone, took interest in this supposed side job to help him through his college. He sported shocking blue eyes which he had liked matching with his shirts in the past. His goal was to become a microbiologist researcher before he was tricked into signing a contract with this meddling “gaming” company.

Currently, Daniel is known as Ret. He is a large light blue colored Allosauridae, one of three in a group of highly trained “Dinosaur” fighters. In the team he is known as a more cautious fighter, being of a slimmer build compared to the other two in his group. He is known for running in to start fights by biting and clawing the sides of targets before running off to let the rest of his team take the targets down. He is the fastest of the three.

Francis, a taller broader shouldered brunet was a fresh out of school person of an undisclosed medical position. His brown eyes nearly matched the color of his hair, both seemed to be too much for his pale complexion. Francis had applied for this game testing job for a little extra income to help pay off his student loans. Plus, it was obvious from his online records, Francis was an avid gamer.

Currently, Francis is now known as Goldrush. He is a large yellow Allosauridae. The largest of the group of three. Though he is slow moving he can take a pretty punch and deal quite a lot back to a target. He often comes in right behind his partner, Ret, to “stack bleed” with a heavy bite that looks like someone using an axe to chop into someone. Oftentimes he stays on a target far longer than the other two on the team.

Lyla, a black haired woman with nearly perfect pear shaped proportions was a “local in the gaming scene.” She would often post game reviews breaking down certain gaming mechanics in indee development games and in big-finish releases. Her bright green eyes had seen just about every piece of code used for game development one could dream of. She took her chance with this new “game studio” just to see if she could be the first to produce a review on its potential. Unfortunately for her, under contract, she would never be allowed to do so.

Currently, Lyla is known as Birch. A huge white and black Allosauridae that is part of a team of three. Her size is comparable to the largest member of the group, Goldrush, though her build is a bit lighter. She is

The groups’ healthy middle when it comes to combat. Often she will dart in to land a few blows before circling back to let the other two go in for their own attacks.

All three members are unable to contact their

Family’s or friends- under contract. They are forced to resume their lives on the “test island” filled with combat.

the quality is absolutely HORRID bc I had to take the picture on my phone, but by 'my laptop literally can't open it up anymore', this is what I meant 😭

whenever I try and load up the game, the anticheat thing loads for a lil bit before the entire thing shuts off and this message appears ^

i looked it up a bunch when it first started popping up, but I don't think I ever found any solutions that actually worked. if literally anyone has any idea what is up with this please tell me, I've been really wanting to play recently bc the new updates look absolutely scrumptious

part of me wants to play The Isle Evirma again, but

the tedious process of growing a deino/carno/ stego/any other large creature for hours, to then just get jumped by a mix-packing group of like 20 tenos and 5 fully grown carnos is not the best way to spend time, nor is it the best feeling

the dark nighttime where you can't tell where any sound is coming from, paired with the less than amazing night vision is an absolutely terrifying experience I kinda don't wanna return to @_@

my laptop literally can't open it up anymore. a combination of the poor optimization and it just not working with my version I think ??? I looked into it at one point bc I was confused when I tried to open it up and it just. didn't. can't remember anymore, though that doesn't stop the longing to start playing a fresh deino like I had when I first started Evirma
