     -- I use GunMod’s Camera Mod as well, and they definitely don’t conflict (as you can only have one CASCamera file in your Cameras folder!). Just make sure to have my version of the CASCamera file installed, and you’re good to go! ^^

Ugh, your poor daughter. Sucks to have a condition that the “almighty” doctors can’t diagnose so they just stick a fancy-sounding name on it. :(

In any case, I did a little patch test on the inside of my elbow today, and it’s definitely an allergic reaction to something in the shampoo. :\ Thing is, it could just be one ingredient in the shampoo and not the mixture as a whole, so now I’m going to paranoid about any kind of shampoo or conditioner or liquid soap or whatever that might possibly have that ingredient, whatever it is, because...Yeah, that was awful. :p Soooooo, time to find a good hippie replacement for all those things, I guess. Hopefully it’s not a natural ingredient that will still be in a hippie shampoo....

But yeah, good advice to have both Benedryl and Claritin on hand. Kind of like sometimes I’d have to take both Tylenol and an NSAID for pain. Well, when I could take those things, anyway. *sigh*

Yes, yes, thanks to your evil influence, we (because I had to share this with Ethan) had to go off and watch everything of theirs that’s on YouTube. :) Our favorite, though, was We Are Not a Men’s Group. Ethan’s been humming the tune and snickering about sweat lodges and naked writhing piles of glistening man-flesh all day. Then we ordered three of their CDs. :) I think only Australians could get away with a combination of dry, deadpan wit and Georgian chorale. :)

Oh, and their rendition of Prince’s “Kiss” is hilarious, too... 

And, @dauntlessmetalmom: Yow, I think Christopher Lee would scare any four-year-old, just by virtue of being Christopher Lee, even if it wasn’t a vampire movie. :) He did have one of the sexier voices ever, though, mmmmmmm...

And yay, someone else who remembers Space: 1999! :) British sci-fi is good at the creepy, indeed. I’m actually kind of curious to see the show now, as an adult. There does seem to be a number of full episodes on YouTube. Wonder if it’s on DVD...

Hi. Did anyone ever establish whether my getting defaults in the teen male close-fitting pastel shirts with the round collars was something on my end, or some glitch? It could be either, I guess. I tried the round-collar shirts both without a mesh (it didn't need one), and with the original adult mesh. The adults ones are fine. But I can't quite see how this would conflict with my other downloads to get that default. Stranger things have happened, though. This IS based on an EA game, after all!

i don’t exactly know why the round collared shirts would show as defaults b/c they were entirely custom, unless for some reason they are picking up information related to the shirt i cloned them off of, as if they’re repositoried. that would probably point to some deeper mod conflict that i don’t have any information about so hopefully you or someone else can make sense of this little glitch. :<

Inventory memories doesn’t sound good, but I think trying to meet Toddler New Year and Santa and other NPCs is okay—just a weird game bug that doesn’t hurt anything. Or so a recent tumblr discussion led me to believe. ;)

From what I've heard, Sims building (or attempting) any kind of relationship level with certain NPCs is Bad News. I forget what the rule of thumb was, but I think it's if you can't select "Talk ... Chat" with that NPC, leave them be, like the infamous Mrs. CrumpleBottom. Toddler New Year (and Father Time for that matter) seem to fit that description. Santa is different because you're meant to be able to interact with him. I'd be keen to read what you've read though if you can link me!

I'm not sure I'd be able to replicate any of it, to be honest. I don't have any test hoods (yet). The inventory items -> memories thing only happened once; when I tried to place multiple copies of the same item into my Sim's house from the Inventory, after placing one, the other two randomly turned into memories ("Moved Out" and "Made a BFF"). I hit undo and switched to another Sim, and upon switching back the 'memories' had changed back into their original items and I could place them normally. The Sims had just moved in to the new lot, which might have affected it.

I ran the Hood Checker and fixed the issues it brought up, so I'll wait to see if either of these errors happen again, and if so, I'll start testing to see if it's the hood, my downloads, or my installation.

I started the year full of vim, vigor and determination to take better care of my body, including exercising more, only to bruise a rib yesterday (hopefully. I didn’t break it)  when I fell over something someone left right in a pathway when I was out and about yesterday. Ouch. I suppose easy, gentle yoga and short, easy walks are better than nothing, though, until I heal. Good luck with your quest! :)

Oh no, what horrible luck! :( I hope you'll heal quickly and can get back to your regular routine, though it sounds like you've got the right idea in the meantime.

Well I've tried out several other terrain paints, including those I use on lots which are not messed up, and it keeps happening.

I'm actually thinking something else is wrong. Maybe the lot itself is corrupt, and if that's the case I'm gonna jump out of my window.

Have you updated your video card drivers recently? (Don’t know if that’s the problem, but trying for a simple solution first.)

It's a good suggestion, but my drivers are up to date and have been for a while. I thought it had to do simply with the lot itself, but it's also showing up on another lot.

I'll just mess around to see if I can fix it in any way.
