The Sunrise and Moonrise Pokemon

An Eeveelution that evolves from level up during the day and an Eeveelution that evolves via level up during the night.

The first of many sun and moon based evolutions! I’m not gonna make too many of them derivative of Umbreon and Espeon, since that’d get boring fast, but I figured the evolving during night and day one’s should be. The concept here is that due to the low level of friendship, they still have some Eevee traits.

This is also the first of many eeveelutions that are considered part of a pair. I like making designs where their meant to go together, so expect to see more in the future. Next week’s post is actually another pair!

Roffeon & Fawneon

The Red Nose and Cervid Pokemon

An Eeveelution that evolves via exposure to a Galarica Wreath and an Eeveelution that evolves via exposure to a Galarica Cuff.

Since it’s the holiday season, I wanted to do some winter based ones! I thought deer would be cute, and both the Galarica Wreath and Cuffs seemed like fitting items for it.

Fawneon’s name origin is pretty obvious, but Roffeon actually comes from the name Roffe, which is a variant of Rudolph! There’s tons of variants of the name, so it was hard to pick one. I considered Rudeon for a while, but I didn’t want it to sound like it was rude or something…

Anyway Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it! Also I will not be posting something next week cause I will be on a trip at the time. Hopefully the last two weeks having two evolutions makes up for that though!
