Printing from screen is always a terrible experience for me …I feel your pain! but I’ve managed to fix it slightly by finding the colour settings on my computer and playing around with it. It helps to hold a piece you’ve printed next to the same picture on your computer screen and then fiddle around until they look more similar. This does change how pictures look on your painting program vs tumblr, etc, though.
oh thanks!!! I guess investing in the better screen would help too, but I will try what you’ve mentioned!
IT IS THE FIRST DAY OF NOVEMBER, AND SO, TODAY, I’VE CHANGED MY AVATAR (!)
It seems incredible that it’s been three years and I’ve never once changed my avatar or my theme, but I assure you it is so. Erm, it’s not like I am resistant to change or anything. BUT – in honor of Race Day, I’ve built up the courage to change my avatar and my banners (though not my theme – that is a bridge too far). Essy (@evolvingwildthing) has graciously allowed me to use this delightful drawing on my blog, which makes it far easier to take the plunge! :)

every time i lose a follower i pretend it's one of the porn blogs, disappointed at my blog's lack-of-porny content
That´s a good strategy. They have to be so dissapointed with mine aswell

i get the same thing... its so annoying
Annoying and pretty disgusting tbh , but whenever I see a suspicious url I block them. even though I know there´s probably not a physical person behind that or anything. but for some reason the idea of them being there troubles me a lot. so I block them
First off, I think this is a brilliant idea, it's so great you are going ahead with this project. My question is this: if we enter/apply to be an artist, is there anyway we can make sure that our application has been received? Thanks!
thank you! if you are worried, you can always send me an ask @crowloop i can check for you :) or email us trcfanzine at gmail
ok ok ok so I feel like I need to talk about Puck's dress (or shirt? it looks like a dress) in Maggie's new art work, which is beautiful, but honestly it's not something I pictured Puck wearing. It seems very Anne of Green Gables esque to me, which fits with the early 1900's timeline (although I also fancied the whole book taking place a little later) but I'm not sure it really fits Puck? I don't know, there's already been a ton of talk on timeline, but what do you think?
Oh my goodness, thank you. I knew I could count on you to talk about this pressing topic!
That was my first thought too–Puck’s outfit definitely looks like it should belong to Anne Shirley! It fits with the suffragist movement comment, but I feel wrong-footed about it. It seems like it would clash with much of the technology present, such as the Bedford truck and the flashbulb cameras? Am I wrong about all that too???
On the other hand, after much googling, I’ve found that some sweaters from the 1930s sort of look like they could be reminiscent of whatever Puck’s got on. (Examples here: x, x, x, x.)
But then again, variations on mutton sleeves popped up throughout the decades, including the 1960s/70s peasant rival and the 80s Neo-Victorian, and beyond! And while none of those later decades seem like a fit either, I have to think that anything could be possible now!
Per Maggie’s Facebook: “I moaned to one of my critique partners that I was going to give it away; alas, I should’ve just had her standing behind a large pot or something to hide her decade’s fashion.”
Maggie may have feared she had given too much away, but, really, Maggie need not have worried?
took the survey! It was very nicely done, Is it an idea you made up? Cause it's pretty cool.
Thank youuuu! I had this idea for years but I can now “use” it. Thanks for your kind word!
you're just reblogging all my old scorpio art wow I've never seen so much of my own stuff so often all at once *blushing furiously*
Yeah, I went back and queued up the majority of posts in my fan art tag in honor of the season! You are one of the most prolific artists in our little fandom and I LOVE AND APPRECIATE EVERY PIECE THAT YOU DO! Your art is very dear to me! :)
