He frowned at that. It would have certainly been as interesting as it was annoying if the floor DID was in fact sentient and could let them know just how much they didn't appreciate being walked on "Ah- well, one day I might access a universe where there is one. Now that I've thought about it. Perhaps Imagination Land." Laughing a little he lift his head, raising his eyebrows "How did you do that?" He asked. Reaching over he grabs a book on a side table "In other news, I watched Howls Moving Castle last night." He informed as he opened the book, glancing it over "You're not hurt are you?"

Finnian nodded at the thank you, then looked back out toward the falling rain as it went on. He wondered how many other planets would have such similar weathers, how many other dimensions. He wondered even how many were different from one another. As the lightening had come, crackling and then striking with a boom he reached over toward her, grabbing her hand to pull her toward him.

Ignoring his own discomfort from the loud noise, he hummed a song from his own planet, one he had heard the queen hum to her own son, in the nursery as she sat and told him stories. He often ease dropped from where he was made to sleep on the other side of the room, only because he was to be bonded with the prince as his loyalist friend and right hand man when the time came for the other to rule "It's alright."

Raising his hands for a moment, he pats them then to his legs "Oh. Well sorry. Why's the tea g-" He opened his mouth, half offended by this next comment. Looking her over, in absolute shock "You don't like tea?!" Shaking his head, he swallowed "Maybe you just haven't had the right tea yet." That had to be it! He was sure of it.
