Transangelic Exodus by Ezra Furman

DAMN this was hard. I just scrolled through soooo many of my albums looking for the PEAK ones. I wanna underline Transangelic Exodus by Ezra Furman, a #1 driving album especially if it's NIGHT or it's RAINING, holy shit. I actually own several of these CDs (except 3, 4, and 6) and have played them in my car for road trips.

I also skipped a lot of faves (ONCE: A New Musical, The Boy Who Knew Too Much by MIKA) because the vibes of driving is different. If I'm just going to the store it's whatever, radio is good; if I'm going on a road trip or even to the next town I need coherence. I need my ears to be in conversation with my brain and I need the flowwwww baybee! but ONCE can make me tired and TBWKTM is... very much an album that spoke to my teenage heart and now doesn't fit inside me the same way anymore. I'm sorry but it has to be this way

also I assume that if I just bought my shitty car and only have 7 CDs shit has hit the fan, and so I chose albums that make me feel powerful to sing to.
