Evie crept up behind her brother and tapped his shoulder with a grin, his present behind her back. "Happy Birthday!"
Their it was- that tender smile, reserved only for his twin sister, and her alone.
“-– Ah, not about to waste any time, are we-?”
Jacob chuckled softly as he turned around, his smile widening as he planted his gaze on his sister’s features. He flung his arms out to his sides in an almost flamboyant manner, the happiness sparkling in his hazel hues.
“Happy birthday, my dearest sister!”
And to finish off, he leaned in, engulfing his sister’s form in the comforting bear hugs only he knew he could provide. The trademark mischief could be found outlining his features once more as he remembered Evie always nagging him about suffocating her, but he never bought it- not while she so ‘annoyingly’ spoke of his carelessness with that amused grin on her face.
“And oh-? What is this...?”
As Jacob continued to hug Evie, his hand came to pat the object she had hid behind her back- but the man knew better. Despite the complete and utter teasing tone he used, he wasn’t so mean as to try and swipe what he assumed to be his gift from her hands.
