Okay not that I am not ABSOLUTELY in love with Olrox, [REDACTED] and the main cast, but where is the love for Drolta, my girl slayed every second she was on screen. She carried half the season on those heel-less shoes. I am supremely gay for her.

Man I just finished Dalen's Closet yesterday. I wanted to finish all of Vox Machina right before tlovm, but I now think it was a mistake. I'm having one of the worst cases of post-media-consumption-grief I've ever had and now I'm supposed to go back to their beginnings? When I just got to the end and to THAT scene? This is going to be some serious whiplash.

I'm so glad Shiro was confirmed as a gay character. Not only is it absolutely great because he is the leader of Voltron, but also it means that people won't be able to attack the cast about shipping while hiding behind the "we need representation" argument.

I'm not saying that we should necessarily settle with only one lgbt character and call it a day. I'm saying that those who attack the cast for ships only care about their agenda and don't give a damn about actual representation.

the weird prejustice against using audiobooks instead of reading a paper book should be studied because what do you mean you discredit someone if they listen to a book instead of sitting down to read it. audiobooks use the same part of your brain that books do. its the same thing, just more accessible to people

I just made my entire family dinner AND dessert for mothers day and then cleaned the kitchen. it didnt hit me until just now. ouw.

So for Christmas, my mom asked me to order my dad this custom quilt and put it on my credit card. I did this assuming it would be from me and her and she had already figured out what my sister was getting him, only to find out that no, she did not figure it out. Which led to us buying my dad croc sandals after a very stressful day doing other things.

Well I was the one who put the crocs in a bag and like an idiot, I didn’t write on the tag and forgot about it. Which leads to today when the quilt came in and my mom and me started wrapping it. We get to the tag and she’s asks me whose this from.

...it is then she tells me that she forgot she bought my dad a Christmas gift 2 months ago and so she doesn’t want to put her name on it but we have the other present that is unclaimed that we don’t know whose giving it to him. Which then goes into a giggle fit as we realize how dumb we are and ends with my mom’s final decision:

The gift is from me and the 3 dogs. Needless to say, I can’t wait to see the look on my dad and sisters face when they read the tag and wonder what the fuck happened.
