my stupid little friday night funkin' au (Family Night Friday, it's exactly what it sounds like) turns four today.

i make an illustration every year for it because i'm sentimental and dumb. though i'm not sure if i'll do it next year.

funny how the very first time i'm mentioning this au here is for its 4 year anniversary lol.

i don't know how it happened, but i love this a lot. this silly little piece means a lot to me now. while i was making it i felt ,idk...young again? it reminded me of how i used to spent countless hours on my drawings, blasting music in my ears and completely sinking into the process. admittedly i hated some of it, lineless isn't my favorite style to do lol. but i still pushed through. and as i pushed through i started having fun! this made me realize maaaaybe i'm not that terrible of an artist my brain likes to tell me all the time.

sappy garbo aside, here's all the past anniversary illustrations. this new one is a redraw of the very first.
