A baby must have!Ewan the dream sheep!
As parents who are whole heartily for co sleeping, we found Flynn was getting too big at 14 months to stay in with us. It was effecting all of our sleep. So it was time to move him into his cot. This was not an easy task. We found he kept waking up and just not settling.
I remembered as a baby white noise settled him so well, I mean after 40 weeks in a very noisy environment it must be so uncomfortable to be in a world not so noisy, the comforting beat of your mums heart not lulling you to sleep.
Scouring online we found him, Ewan the dream sheep, sounds completely ludicrous, but I thought I would try anything to settle my little boy and make the experience a lot less scary, it’s a big change!
He came a few days later after ordering and we had four difference legs to press which would play different calming noises, heartbeat, harp, Hoover and waves. He also emits a lovely red glow reminiscent of what unborn babies see while in utero. It worked perfectly he was off to sleep straight away.
We have had “baa” which is what Flynn affectionately calls him a few months now, and we can’t be without him! He’s even learned to press the legs for which ever sounds he feels he wants.
He has a lovely soft touch feel with a Velcro tail, which means you could take Ewan out and about. I also think his coat has a smell trapping quality, so if you kept him close he would smell of mum giving even more comforting and calming properties.
Ewan is a baby must have and give him 10/10. Do beware it does say from birth to adult on the label, I have fallen asleep listening to Ewan too!
