HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLARA!!! :D I hope you're enjoying your cat mug ;) Spent the morning at Artesia. I skated the 9:00, then took an hour break, then the 10:45 and 11:30 sessions. I did my short once and my long twice. I feel pretty accomplished :) I saw Courtney Hicks there today. I usually see her at Toyota... Also, the Keiser sisters were there and the norm: Caroline Zhang, Grant Hochstein, the pair teams, etc. I came home EXHAUSTED! I would have fallen asleep if it weren't for the opportunity to go to Jamba Juice :D smooooooooothies yay! Spent the rest of the afternoon watching comedy TV shows and the beginning of the Olympic opening ceremonies :)

I awoke to find a stunning complimentary breakfast buffet awaiting by the courtyard. I know I probably shouldn't have bacon and french toast before I skate, but whatever it was free :) From the short, but sweet, stay at the hotel, we drove over to Artesia to have a lesson with Alex. He dissected my footwork and reconfigured it. My lesson wasn't long enough to finish it, so I am currently awaiting an email with the ending to my newly choreographed footwork. From Artesia, we headed down the 605 to the 105 to find ourselves at Toyota. Coincidently, 3 other people I skated with at Artesia were there too. Haha we should have carpooled :) I then had a lesson with Victoria. We did laybacks and worked on my combo spin. She was going to look at my spins within my program, but we ran out of time. On the bright side, I was able to cut in front of everyone in line and get my long done :) (I wish I was able to do that at Artesia... so many coaches bumping their skaters in line! Geez!)
