Made this in the Palabras workshop at #ewocc2015 The assignment was to create something inspired by the words that had been shared in the room in regards to how everyone felt about the conference so far. & This is what I came up with.
Mi cultura es resistencia The hold to my roots, the Spanglish dialect that my tongue untangles. Mujeres unidas, Are underestimated but should be feared. Our blood hold the same cells of our ancestors, the creators,healers,educators, las guerreras. We are the modern day zapatistas. The 21st century’s Aztec Goddesses.
