RORY / LEO

who steals french fries off the other’s plate:  rory  definitely.  he’s  the  type  to  hold  the  food  bag  after  they  drive  away  from  the  drive-thru  and  steal  fries  out  of  the  bag  when  leo  isn’t  looking.  he  then  gives  him  the  meal  he  stole  the  fries  from  so  he  can  have  even  more.  cue  leo  banning  rory  from  holding  the  takeout  bag  any  more

who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple:  leo!!  and  he  spends  the  rest  of  the  night  referring  to  rory  as  his  “better  half”  and  the  “love  of  his  life”  to  which  rory  either  a)  soberly  buries  his  head  in  his  hands  every  time,  or  b)  drunkenly  embraces  the  hell  out  of  it  and  gets  down  on  one  knee  in  a  fake  proposal.

who has to bust or bail the other out of jail:  let’s  be  honest  if  one  of  them  is  in  jail  then  the  other  is  definitely  in  there  with  them.  it’ll  be  left  to  grace  to  get  them  out

who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues:  rory  but  only  because  he’s  been  with  grace  longer.  but  he  is  still  a  dumb  boy  and  accidentally  gives  leo  bad  advice  that  grace  has  to  quickly  suggest  better  options  for

who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes:  rory  because  he  is  a  sore  loser  and  leo  always  beats  him,  no  matter  what  game  they’re  playing.  if  they’re  playing  online  together,  rory  will  purposely  bring  up  distracting  topics  since  he  can’t  physically  cheat  leo  out  of  winning.

who immediately calls dibs on the top bunk:  leo  definitely.  he’ll  pop  his  head  down  to  rory’s  bunk  at  3am  and  be  like  “pssst,  you  awake?”  even  though  he  can  clearly  hear  rory  snoring

who starts and who wins the pillow fights:  leo  starts  by  launching  a  pillow  at  rory  while  he’s  trying  to  work  and  first  rory  tells  him  to  fuck  off  but  then  his  competitive  streak  kicks  in  and  they  go  to  pillow  WAR

who says “your pants would look better on their floor” to the other’s potential crush:  they  would  both  say  it  tbh  but  it  used  to  be  leo’s  favourite  pick-up  line  before  he  met  millie  so  he  can  deliver  it  with  perfect  charm

MILLIE / GRACE

who jokingly moves in for the kiss when someone asks if they’re a couple:  oh  this  is  such  a  grace  move.  millie  would  find  it  hilarious  and  collapse  into  a  fit  of  laughter.  from  then  on  they  always  joke  about  running  off  from  the  guys  and  starting  a  new  life  together

who has to bust or bail the other out of jail:  like  rory  and  leo,  these  two  would  be  in  it  together.  definitely  because  millie  accidentally  got  into  trouble  and  grace  dives  in  to  help  her  out,  resulting  in  both  of  them  getting  arrested.  the  boys  tease  them  endlessly  for  it  but  the  girls  mugshots  are  model  material  so  they  low  key  don’t  mind

who gives the other advice/comfort about dating issues:  grace!!  millie  goes  to  grace  for  advice  on  everything,  from  what  to  wear  to  a  work  event  to  how  she  can  approach  leo  about  taking  the  next  step  (meeting  their  families,  moving  in  together,  buying  a  pet,  etc.)  grace  will  receive  a  text  at  least  once  a  week  at  1am  where  millie  is  like  “sorry,  can’t  sleep.  need  your  help…”

who shamelessly cheats at games by reaching over to cover the other’s eyes:  grace.  i  mean,  where  did  you  think  rory  learnt  it  from?  she  and  rory  are  the  ultimate  competitive  couple,  and  late  at  night  when  they’re  snuggling  in  bed  they  secretly  conspire  on  how  to  win  against  leo  and  millie

who starts and who wins the pillow fights:  millie  starts  but  grace  absolutely  finishes.  like  i  said,  she  and  rory  have  to  be  #1  and  their  egos  won’t  allow  for  defeat.  cue  millie  screaming  “mercy”  between  her  fits  of  giggling  as  she  realises  what  she’s  let  herself  in  for

who says “your pants would look better on their floor” to the other’s potential crush:  grace  would  be  the  ultimate  wing  woman  if  millie  needed.  millie’s  a  lot  more  reserved  and  would  die  of  embarrassment  if  grace  said  that  but  would  be  grateful  for  it  later  on  once  she  gets  a  guys  number.  luckily,  the  ladies  don’t  need  it  but  grace  is  loved  by  her  friends  for  her  wing  woman  skills.

7. routine kisses where the other person presents their cheek/forehead for the hello/goodbye kiss without even looking up from what they’re doing

“So then at 1:30 I have a meeting with those vloggers and Rosalind for the interview they’re doing ...”

“Mhm.”

“And at 3 the mayor wanted to talk about the coven being part of this year’s harvest parade, so I’m going to need you for that ...”

“Mhm.”

“But I promise you’ll be back before 6 for the weekly round table with the High Council.”

“Mhm.”

Misha glanced over at their wife, who hadn’t even looked up from her book. They let out a slightly exasperated sigh. “Sybil, are you even listening to me?”

Sybil glanced up at them, one immaculate eyebrow raised. “Your morning is packed with admin duties, you’re going to be with Rosalind at 1:30, and you need me to meet you at the mayor’s office at 3. I’ll bring you some of the rosemary bread I’m baking today because you’ll inevitably eat something cheap and unfulfilling for lunch in your haste to make sure everything’s perfect for us. Which I naturally appreciate, though I do wish you’d take better care of yourself, love.” She looked back to her book.

“... I don’t know why I doubt you.” Misha slung their bag over their shoulder. Sybil didn’t look up from her book as they passed by her; she merely tilted her head and brushed her curls aside to reveal one rounded cheek. Misha stopped just long enough to press a kiss to it.

“Love you, darling.”

Although Sybil continued reading, her smile grew wider. “I love you, too.”
