I can't stress how grateful I am that I learned I was in a cult at a young age. Sure, it gave me time to unlearn some of the material literally ingrained in me, but no one talks about how hard it is for younger individuals stuck in cults. I'm not saying this to undermine what other cult survivors have gone through, but it is seriously so hard to find resources. It's been hard for all cult survivors to find help in general, but as a younger person, it's been a lot harder finding ex-cult safe spaces with people around my same age group. I tried the ex-jw reddit, and it's filled with bots and nsfw content. none of which I would like to see SHGSDGh !!! other support groups I've encountered aren't the most friendly towards minors. All I want is a safe space to communicate my feelings with others who can strongly relate to me. And it's been so ridiculously hard to find one :')
