Church and Parish Hall cleaning
I had the privilege of cleaning the toilets at our Church yesterday evening followed by having to scrub clean and then polish the wooden floor of our Parish Hall. It reminded me of my place as a submissive wife who needs to improve my behaviour to become the godly, modest and obedient wife I should be.
The floor was hard work and I was worn out by the time I had finished. The presence of the older ladies overseeing my work ensured I had to remain on my hands and knees until I had completed my task.
I was also given time to reflect on my need to improve by serving a timeout in the corner dressed in my long plain dress and dowdy long knitted woollen cardigan when I arrived home. It helps me give thanks for the deserved discipline I am subject to, to reflect on my humiliating clothes and focus on working harder to improve.
