Dimensions Entertainment hints at 15th anniversary celebrations

Founded in 2002, Dimensions Entertainment has had a bumpy ride to becoming one of the top entertainment companies in South Korea. Recently, it has often been named the most creative and conceptual entertainment company, and even more impressively, the fastest growing company in the country. Industry experts have said its growth in an often stalling industry is not something to be taken for granted. Having secured its spot at the top in recent years, fans have been curious as to why the company has done little to acknowledge its fifteen year anniversary so far in 2017.

When asked, a representative for the company stated, “We cannot confirm or deny any reports at this time, but for its fifteenth year and beyond, Dimensions is striving to push itself forward and embrace new frontiers. Dimensions plans for the rest of the year exemplify this mission and we hope to share our excitement at experiencing fifteen years of hard work by our staff and artists.” 

With Dimensions Entertainment’s founding date anniversary drawing nearer, the Dimensions representative hinted that we may be hearing more of them very soon.

MKMJ Release Single "Good Boy"

Origin and MARS have become known as boy group forces in their own rights with passionate fanbases, so the success of a collaboration between the two groups is no surprise. Origin’s Mj and MARS’s Mark released their single “Good Boy” under the unit name MKMJ on July 5.

The song is a track mixing hip hop, trap, and EDM elements, for a fun song that shows both of the members charms. With plenty of shirtless shots and demonstrating his vocal and dancing skills, Mark delivers the bulk of the singing on the track. Mj may be more in his comfort zone in concept, coming from a group heavy with hip hop influences, but his choice to showcase his rapping, a skill previously unvisited on Origin tracks, makes it clear he isn’t taking a back seat for this collaboration.

Both members of MKMJ contributed artistically to the single. Mark is credited with producing the song and Mj is credited with the composition of the song. Fans have expressed appreciation at being able to see both of the idols play a hand in the creation of the song.

The song has done well on the charts both in South Korea and abroad, bringing together Genesis (Origin fans) and Supernovas (MARS fans). The song promotions are planned to last a month. Fans are hopeful about seeing more collaborations between Dimensions Entertainment and Gold Star Media in the future.

MARS’ Mark and Origin’s Mj let loose at club opening

The opening of VOLUME night club had a star-studded guest list and since then, fans have been offered looks at some of their favorite idols in the forms of interview questions from the red carpet, as well as exclusive pictures and promotional videos from opening night. 

One peak we got was at everybody’s favorite prince charming, MARS’s Mark, and hot bad boy, ORIGIN’s Mj, releasing their fears and concerns with the help of sexy moves in a provocative choreography that made all eyes turn to the main stage at VOLUME club opening.

Both MARS and Origin’s recent comebacks have cemented the groups and members Mark and Mj as idols with lots of charm, but this look at a different side of them is sure to have fans talking. Leave your comments below to let us know what you think about these two top idols letting loose!

Knight's Daesung and Lipstick's Luna are the new ambassadors for luxury brand D&G

The 32-year-old Italian luxury brand handpicked LIPSTICK’s Luna and KNIGHT’s Daesung as it’s ambassadors for their newest collections. Jacques Yang, managing director of Dolce & Gabanna International, recalls that when he first saw the pictures of them, he was taken back by their effortless yet captivating edgy visuals. “It was like ‘Wow!’,” Yang says. “They looked edgy but cool at the same time. Their images fit well with the brand and they’re also adored and popular figures within both younger and older audience. ” The director couldn’t stop the compliments on both of the good-looking idols, both which come from groups that are famous for their no-visual-hole status. As the faces for the new campaign, Luna and Daesung are also a way for the brand to approach a wider audience. The world of high-end brands can appear as a little too serious and boring sometimes, Yang says, and these two made it more approachable. “It’s a way to energize the world of D&G. You can be young, you can be edgy and you can still like Dolce & Gabanna. They totally achieved the task. It has actually made older people look at our newest collections with a fresh perspective and boosted us in a very interesting way.”
