((WAAAAAAAAAAT this is gonna be tough.))
Erza sighed a bit. She was tired of arguing. With a cat. She was older, she should know better then to lose her temper on an exceed…and one who wasn’t even annoying.
Wendy had been missing for a few days and Master Makarov had ordered that Team Natsu stay put. And that included Charle. Yes, the redhead was worried about her bluenette friend, but orders were orders, and the master must have had a good reason for putting them in place.
Charle was not one to mope, and Erza knew that one well, but without Wendy…she seemed too sad. Especially because the exceed couldn’t go looking for her close friend.
“Charle!” Erza had called out, in the hope of comforting her, but even if she tried to switch to a cheery topic, it didn’t quite work. What was even more shocking was that the quiet cat wanted to talk about it. And what was even more shocking was that she wanted to look for Wendy against orders, which was most unusual.
“She’s important to me,” the exceed had confessed to Erza. But Erza was not going to budge, rules were rules. As she tried to explain to her about why Makarov might put these orders in place, the cat snapped. What was worse was that the redhead snapped right back, even harsher. Words that no one would ever think would come out of Charle’s mouth flew out. Erza’s words were no less vulgur. Yes, Wendy Marvel was missing, but arguing wasn’t the option.
“My apologies, Charle,” the mage had bowed her head a bit, feeling ashamed. It seemed they both realised bickering wasn’t an option. She accepted the cat’s apology as well, and they both came to the conclusion that they would just go and talk to the master about the situation.
That was right. Teamwork.
