hi, Excel, um, i haven't had my devices to read the updates on GDD and such, and even now that i do i feel sick but i'll read the new chapters i promise, i'm excited to!... sigh. i just want to be in a mind space where i enjoy them, sorry for this though.

And good news, I have plans to have Owen meet Scott! This fic is becoming more substantial than I expected, and there will be some chapters focused more on the story and characters themselves, rather than just pure self-indulgent fluff (although it will still be self-indulgent and fluffy), so you can expect that to happen one day ^^
Spoilers: he and Owen will find something to bond over. Louis is not exactly pleased, but he will have to deal with that.

Domestic lovebitten fic idea: Owen, as a poor, sick child/lumberjack, very likely would not have been taught how to read. Could be interesting to see Louis realize that and begin teaching him.

I already planned a chapter of them just chilling together, relaxing in bed in reading. I already made it canon that Owen is, in fact, literate, but I imagine he never had much time to practice so reading is not easy for him. But Louis teaching him? That's something I can get on board with :3
Revenant head canons? Like I know darker claws and sharper teeth but do you have more your willing to share now?
Glad you asked :3 here are a few things, not all of them but some off the top of my head:
They can turn invisible and leap much higher. I know that in canon all vampires can do that, but I headcanon that only revenants can. In turn, vampires can hypnotize others - something revenants can't do.
Their higher body heat is a countermeasure to vampiric rigor mortis - when vampire stay unmoving for a long time, they get very stiff, while revenants aren't affected by this as strongly.
They build up fat tissue in late summer and fall so that they don't have to hunt as much during winter, when it's harder to find animals. Speaking of, they attack animals more often than they do humans, and they only really do that when threatened.
They're a lot more cat than other vampires. They purr and hiss and emote a lot. Very cute, if they don't scratch your eyes out.
Also, revenants siring someone does not always create other revenants! If Owen was to sire someone, they won't necessarily become a revenant themself. But they might :3

It was awesome!
Jokes aside, I can honestly tell that the finale, and the whole storytelling of Vampires SMP blew me away. I cried so hard while watching the finale unfold. I wish I can become as good of a storyteller as these people one day. This series will forever hold a very special place in my heart.
And I already have ideas for new fics, following the end! I'm not abandoning this ship anytime soon! Hooray!
