Introductory post! (I should've done it ages ago lol)

Hi everyone! I go by Izel or Excel (he/they/it) and on this profile I post about my writing!

I study creative writing and gamedev and I really hope to become a full-time writer one day. But until that happens, I write about silly little Minecraft people :3 Right now I post mostly in the Vampires SMP/Life series/Hermitcraft fandoms, but I might expand it to other fandoms and original writing in the future!

i cannot count how many times ive went searching for a yuri fic only to find half of the fics are focused on yaoi… and to top it off the yuri shows up ONCE 🫩🫩

Just tweaked Elegy of a vampire hunter's tags thanks to this, because Shubbledrift will be pretty minor in this fic. I want to write something focusing on them one day but this fic is unfortunately just Abolish Veylocke torture machine

I feel like not enough people talk about the fact that Shelby wanted to kill Owen as well, not just Pyro.

Like, Shelby was of course upset at Owen for killing Avid, just like she was with Pyro. The two of them killed one of the people she cared about most. With Owen specifically, though, this strongly parallels how the town 200 years prior took away the person Owen cared about most. But there's even more to it than that.

cc!Shelby has talked about how v!Shelby, when she found out that v!Owen chose his death, was actually pissed at him for "taking the easy way out" and not sticking around to face the consequences of his actions. As she said, he was kinda the one to really kick off the whole conflict. If it wasn't for him, there may have been a chance at peace between the humans and vampires way earlier. He was one of the main antagonizers of the town and he just... dipped, leaving the other vampires to deal with the mess he started.

After all of that, if she had been given the opportunity, Shelby absolutely would have tried to kill him as well. The only reason she didn't is because he disappeared for, like, half of the session and none of the vampires knew where he was.

Also, imagine if Shelby, this character that parallels Louis in so many ways, perhaps even more ways than Legs, was the one to kill Owen and put an end to not only his violence, but also his suffering. She'd be using the pain that he inflicted onto her to put an end his. And ultimately Owen would end up with a very similar ending to canon: he'd finally be reunited with Louis for just that brief moment before being sent to Super Hell™️. The only difference would be that he wouldn't get to choose his fate the way he did in canon, which I think still works for v!Owen as a character. Tragic until the end.

one must not imagine Abolish Veylocke injured and bloody desperately trying to patch himself up while still actively being hunted down by something

one must not imagine his thoughts being so panicked and scrambled that it somehow reminds him of the Doctor that died to save him, as Abolish tries to imagine the Doctor's voice guiding him through stopping the bleeding- something they've both done a couple dozen times before

Oughhhhhh cc!Abolish confirming that whenever v!Abolish is in a dark place or something weird and off putting happens his body goes into survival mode and he gets nightmares cause he doesn’t feel safe oughhhhhhhhhhh

the amount of headcanons I already had based on him not feeling safe in oakhurst and therefore not sleeping well, or him absolutely crashing when he leaves because of the amount of tension he was subconsciously carrying the entire time
