Sailor Stars Eternal Moon Dolls, Bandai Japan by Serena lmao Via Flickr: So I’m in the middle of collecting all of the Bandai japan dolls I need (I just need Chara Talk Mercury, Venus and Jupiter and I’ll be nearly done) and I finally have all three of the 1/6 Eternal Moon dolls! Originally I only planned on getting one Eternal Moon doll, the Chara Talk one (middle). Chara Talk has the best face for Eternal, and her fuku has the best construction and a layered skirt as opposed to a single skirt with ribbons on the base and longer hair. BUT as you can see in my previous photo of her, the brooch was sun damaged and I didn’t like the plastic wings as opposed to an actual wing “bow” in the front. 

 As my plans and desires for my SM collection evolved, I decided I wanted custom bandai Japan dolls of NQS and Princess Serenity, then I realized the other two Eternal dolls would be PERFECT for them. Beauty Change is on the right end, and her face is much ‘younger’ looking and reminiscent of the Season 1-3 face, perfect for Princess Serenity. 

Excellent Pose Eternal Moon is absolutely perfect as NQS, as her face is very mature and her body shape is perfect for a long, strapless dress! To seal the deal, Eternal Moon dolls don’t have holes in their heads for a tiara and crescent moons on their forehead, so they’re the best bases for NQS and Serenity.

 They’ve both been given Odango hair, and Excellent Pose is out for a reroot right now to have longer hair and bangs, since the pigtails are too short and her bangs are SOOOOO WONKY. 

FINALLY, when I bought Excellent Pose, I realized her wings are not only bigger than the other two, but they’re also an iridescent white instead of pink, and she had a fabric wing “bow” on the front instead of a plastic (or the ugly felt one on Beauty Change) one, so I removed Chara Talk’s wings and brooch and replaced them with Excellent Pose, then I gave her the Beauty Change boots since the originals were kind of faded. So essentially I took all of the best parts of each Eternal fuku and combined them to make one perfect fuku for my Chara Talk doll! 

 Excellent Pose/ Beauty Change are both wearing simple, casual 90’s wear until I can get accurate dresses for them. I’m currently on the waitlist for a custom Super Sailor Moon doll from Mini Couture, as well as custom NQS/Princess Serenity dresses for these two. Originally I wanted the Italian Queen/Princess dolls for their dresses but they’re not as accurate as MC and would also be significantly more expensive lol
