#i wholeheartedly understand why people are insecure & anxious about the series finale rn#we're about to say goodbye to a piece of media we have LOVED#with reservations & without#for a very long time#and invested so much in#i understand#and i get it#i've read the meta#i've seen the so-called PR#i've read the spec#i have my own ideas and my own fears about what might happen#but i am here to say#there is ALSO nothing wrong with deciding to be unbothered#based on absolutely nothing#except audacious hope#and sheer chutzpah#there is nothing wrong#with clowning just because#you want to#because it feels good#because ultimately you can't control the outcome#you don't have to prove anything to anyone#this is your show too#your fandom experience too#it's ok to take the wheel back even if you're just gonna thelma and louise it#disappointment is a real thing and it's ok to be afraid of it#but it's also ok to choose joy#pure unadulterated silliness#and the dark horse that is hope beyond reason#fuck it
