Taking a break from doing chores in my own house to do chores in Aunty's house. She can manage quite well, but stacking the dishwasher one-handed is one thing, changing the sheets and flipping the mattress another. Also cooking. Well, not the cooking itself, but the slicing, dicing, cutting, and peeling of ingredients. We've developed a system of batch-cooking interspersed with easy meals she can make herself; it's working out well so far.

Not complaining, btw! I love Aunty and am happy to help her. She's done plenty for me over the years, and helping others always makes the former girl-scout in me happy.

Also, it's good for my self esteem. Hearing Aunty say she's going to brag at game-night tonight about how good my noodle stir-fry was? Yeah, that hits the spot! (What can I say? Compliments make my day!) Her asking if I would make spaghetti next week because she'd love some "really good, old-fashioned spaghetti"? Yeah, also very good for my ego.

(Aunty likes her stir-fry spicy and her spaghetti with a lot of garlic. Fortunately, so do I!)

ugh i was afraid they were going to force Yukihara to have romantic interests in the Shokugeki no Souma anime, and then they fucking did. his character is so much better when he's fully aromantic.
