— a personal blog and digital journal to reblog whatever fits my fancy and to dump thoughts out (or drop my own art here), I primarily run off an untagged queue and just tag fandom / oc stuff !

— my ass has been here on tumblr since 2012; i have seen the horrors and i'm tired 99% of the time. as such i dont have a DNI, don't be a weirdo, hard block to break mutuals, that's all.

— please be aware there is adult content in terms of what i talk about or reblog. 18+ content is tagged as #nsfw and #usfw (if it's my own posts, it will be only #usfw). i'm not going to check who is following but i am warning you that adult content is present and i don't filter myself.

— content warnings are tagged as #content cw and #content (i normally just tag for suggestive content, blood, body horror, gore, and insects).

— i am immensely low energy, as a warning, so interactions are sporadic, though i do often like (❤️) posts from people. as such, this is a low energy safe zone, there's no pressure to interact.

— i also do read pinned posts and byf stuff, out of habit from the tumblr rp community i do tend to forget to like them tho LOL.

— i am an oc x canon shipper (though i use yume as well for it); my OC Sylvie kisses and holds hands with Zhongli. you can see more about them in their tag or in their toyhouse page.

— i am non-sharing mostly just for my own comfort, though all it means is i won't follow back doubles with prominent ships (ex. it's your only ship or your most frequent ship you post), or if you don't have a tag to filter even if it's a side ship, and scroll past thirst talks about him. i linked it above, but i also yap more in detail about it here.

— only request i have is if you think being non-sharing is gatekeeping, block me. i don't want that energy if you think space curation = limiting others. didn't u know i'm knocking on people's doors to tell them to not ship with zhongli /s

— I do reblog my mutuals self/oc ships as well, but I do tag them with their ships names for filtering, and as #character ship.

I think a lot about how we as a culture have turned “forever” into the only acceptable definition of success.

Like… if you open a coffee shop and run it for a while and it makes you happy but then stuff gets too expensive and stressful and you want to do something else so you close it, it’s a “failed” business. If you write a book or two, then decide that you don’t actually want to keep doing that, you’re a “failed” writer. If you marry someone, and that marriage is good for a while, and then stops working and you get divorced, it’s a “failed” marriage.

The only acceptable “win condition” is “you keep doing that thing forever”. A friendship that lasts for a few years but then its time is done and you move on is considered less valuable or not a “real” friendship. A hobby that you do for a while and then are done with is a “phase” - or, alternatively, a “pity” that you don’t do that thing any more. A fandom is “dying” because people have had a lot of fun with it but are now moving on to other things.

I just think that something can be good, and also end, and that thing was still good. And it’s okay to be sad that it ended, too. But the idea that anything that ends is automatically less than this hypothetical eternal state of success… I don’t think that’s doing us any good at all.
