Eat Your Heart Out
This is super short, super shitty, based on a true story (aka my life), but I really wanted to contribute something because I love the boys and this fandom so take this shitty, shitty drabble
---------------------------------------------------------
"You got dumped again, pretty boy?"
No. That wasn't the case at all despite the pitying whispers and the snickers. In fact, he wasn't even feeling unloved. He's just fucking bored and tired and he didn't sleep well last night and school is hard. He actually misses those fucking dorks and his parents stranded him here without a car as if they actually like spending time together and really don't want him home.
He's lonely and he's bored, but he didn't get fucking dumped, okay?
And Billy Hargrove is hear with a plate of fucking shitty looking talapia and greens, lording over him and his lowly chocolate milkshake asking him if he got dumped like it's senior year of high school all over again.
"Fuck off, Billy."
Somehow Hargrove has become Billy. He's sick of Hargrove. He's said it so many times Hargrove doesn't even sound like a word anymore.
So now he's Billy.
Billy did the opposite of what he's told, and sat down across from him.
"Don't you have friends to eat with?"
Billy barely even looked at him which is bullshit because his eyes are like two hot blue laser beams and he's always looking at him. "Don't you?"
"Look," Billy said suddenly with the laser beams eyes shooting to holes into Steve's skull. "I'm doing you a solid, Harrington."
First, he'd like to know what that solid fucking is because there's nothing solid about this. Second...
"Why?"
"Because if I make you look less like a sad sack of shit, I've done one good thing today."
Nevermind whatever niceness-quota Billy Hargrove has in mind, that's probably the least shitty thing he's said to him.
Steve stuck the straw between his lips and grinned. "Eat your heart out, Billy."
Is that how you use the phrase? Who fucking cares, honestly. It felt right.
Billy grinned back, "isn't that what Valentine's Day is all about?"
Hi. Whatsup. How are ya. You’d never guess I’ve been in a 48hr self-destructive spiraling breakdown. Auntie Maggot’s really good at faking it, y’all. 🥰 ;)
