Friends I am here to sheepishly admit I demanded everyone give me sickfic/hurt/comfort prompts, and many of yall delivered and I read your suggestions with love and interest. And then started writing yet another sick Carlos fic that none of yall suggested but that I hope you will enjoy nonetheless. I am still keeping everyone’s suggestions in mind for future fics!! This one is supposed to be a fluffy one shot and hopefully shouldn’t be too long in the works. Today is definitely Monday but I hope you’ll enjoy some sentences anyway
“I’m home!” TK calls, dropping his bag by the door and toeing off his sneakers. “Where’s my buddy?”
“Aw, hey bro, here I am!” Mateo calls, walking into the foyer sipping a beer.
TK smiles, rolling his eyes a bit. “Yeah, hey Mateo. No offense but I meant Buttercup.” One of the bright spots of having had to move back in with his dad and Mateo after the townhouse fire was the big, affectionate Bernese Mountain Dog who loved TK unconditionally and usually greeted him cheerfully at the door, whether he’d been gone a minute or a day.
“In here,” comes Carlos’s voice from the living room. TK pokes his head into the room to see his dog and his boyfriend sprawled on the couch, the big dog pinning Carlos’s legs down.
TK bites his lip, trying to hold back a squeal of delight. “There’s my boys,” he croons.
Carlos shakes his head, grinning at TK. “He’s been my shadow all day. I was going to get dinner started a while ago but he won’t let me up.”
“It’s true,” Mateo confirms. “Cap tried to get him to go run errands with him and he wouldn’t leave Carlos.”
“Can’t blame him,” TK sighs, regarding both of his boys adoringly. “I wouldn’t leave you either if I didn’t have to go to work.”
“Ugh,” Mateo groans. “You guys know you’re the disgusting mushy couple everyone hates, right?”
“We do know,” Carlos confirms. “I’m okay with it, personally.”
