Prompt me please

I am suffering from a terrible case of being *way* too in my head on my WIPs. So in an effort to shake things up, I am throwing open the ask box.

Ask me anything. Prompt me anything. Really. I’m begging you.

Ask about a current WIP. Prompt something whether new or for something I’ve written or something I’ve only talked about. Really I’m wide open. Anything to get me to stop overthinking. The only thing I ask is that if you ask me to write something for an in progress WiP you don’t hold me to it later.

Oh, I'm going to have to admit this now: I don't bookmark fic. My memory is pretty good, so I'm usually able to find the fic I want with just. Filters on ao3, unless it's been deleted. Keeps me on my toes?

Instead I offer a fic series I read recently and really liked: All Caps by makeit_takeit - Tom Wilson/Nic Dowd and it was just. Ugh. So good. It really hit all the right buckets for me for some reason: small cock worship, rare pair, self-esteem issues (on both sides). I could read like, probably 50k more of this.

I would also recommend Lionheart by Aliquis - Jonas Siegenthaller / Nico HIschier modern royalty/bodyguard AU and UGH it’s SO GOOD.

7💯 A fic that makes you think #writergoals

Misethere by Astolat Look. I know it’s not Hockey. I know that Astolat is also a published author. But the things this fic did in the wordcount are just so. If I say economical, it’s going to sound bad, but I really mean that in the *best* way. Like. The author sets up this love potion/spell that is so effective that it drives people to die in the first like, 2000 words in such a believeable way, and then spends the rest of the story showcasing what inhuman control the person who gets *dosed* with said potion has. It’s just. It’s so good. That and, it’s a whole mystery story! And a love story! And political intrigue! all in less than 50k words.

Also, pretty much everything by my good friend Anonymous/ @himbeaux-on-ice but especially become what you’re supposed to be they have this specific way of absolutely blindsiding me with things I didn’t even know I wanted, and then describing them perfectly.

You know what is an insanely underrated album? Demolicious. Literally all the good tracks from the trilogy in that gorgeous, raw format. That's it, I just felt you should know.

i can barely handle watching sense8 sometimes. one minute you're crying cause of something really sad, the next you're crying cause of something really great and sweet (pretty much every nomi & neets scene), the next your anxiety is through the roof cause of some tension filled fucked up shit happening, then you're cheering while still sniffling from some other earlier scene cause these 8 are taking care of business and doing awesome stuff. and that season two ending! it's gonna be a hard wait for season three.
