Meryl's too tired to process Wolfwood's sharp intake of breath when she pulls off her ash-stained jacket. They're only a couple of hours out of July at a desolate way station, filling up the tank of the bike Wolfwood jacked.

Vash's coat and Colt are bundled in one of the bike's saddlebags.

"Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, Shortstack, you too?" Wolfwood says, but his words crack on half a sob. The hair on the back of Meryl's neck raises, not that her nerves have relaxed since she and Roberto were captured.

Meryl realizes her undershirt is sleeveless.

Wolfwood can see her soul mark.

The big one.

Having no plans for the rest of the summer is kind of sad.

well i haven't woken up before noon this whole week

If you had an unfortunate curse befall you, and you were only allowed to live in either all daylight or all night time, which would you choose?

Oooohhhh. That’s very rough. I would choose night—stars and cool and night birds—straight away, except that I found out while living in Indiana that I can suffer from S.A.D., or Seasonal Affective Disorder, which means that I’m sensitive to sunlight, and the lack thereof, and can become depressed if I don’t get enough.

What’s funny, though, is that my favorites are the edges of the days. All the light turning, and the stars fading or beginning to glow, and the weather quickly warming or cooling. Birds and deer seem especially active then. So I’d rather hop from day to day, dawn to dusk, dawn to dusk.

But if the curse insists, I think I would live in daylight, where those whom I love live… Thank you for the terribly intriguing question. :)

not lucky just delusional

Or maybe I'm lucky?

Met a guy who hears what I have to say and holds me accountable to each word. (Note to self: watch what you say)

Crowded in the process of academia and heart strings I am scrambling to complete an assignment due tomorrow so I skipped class to earn extra time.

(The class was cancelled this morning and the assignment was extended)

In addition to those few mistakes I let another two quizzes slip my mind.

Either my luck is changing, or it is preparing me for an incoming rush of the other side of karma's spectrum (bad luck).

Also, it is likely irrational to believe that good luck precedes bad luck on a roller coaster overseen by some all seeing god of fairness and that life is just a combination of unrelated events and emotions that I'm just stumbling through.

I've been convinced it was thursday since monday. Now that it's actually thursday, I'm convinced it's friday.
