Man I always think it's so lame when like a fantasy property makes witches and wizards gendered synonyms for the same type of magical person instead of making them entirely different things, like I dunno bout u but in my heart witches got different vibes from wizards completely unrelated to gender and like BRO I just love seeing a non-lady witch and a non-dude wizard yknow...........I wanna see a wizard that you see spray painted on the side of a van except it's a cool old lady I just think that'd be cool
#it might be harry potters fault for this? i dunno i remember the early movies doing the gendered synonyms thing#but i dont know or care enough about that franchise so im not really talking about it sorry dhfhdhs i was a warriors kid#but i do remember stuff from even before the nineties like from the 70s and 80s that would do it and it sucked so bad#witches and wizards have such different vibes and images in my head to make them gendered terms for the same thing#like a witch is a magical person who eats a the leaf and sometimes has an aminal friemnd#and like a wizard is like fuckin.....ur professor with a degree in neuroscience who spends all their time collecting weird objects#except with magic#i also think making warlocks and witches gendered terms for the same thing is lame as well#like warlocks are just like evil sorcerers they dont eat even a single leaf they aint witches#i wanna see a lady warlock#i think a lady warlock would be neat
