in like 2018 i checked out a local used games store for the first time and then last year i went again for the second time ever and the guy at the counter recognized me and i was so thrown off because i didnt even remember that first time. its a good used games store so i'd like to go again but im like. kinda scared of going back. what if it turns out ive been going there regularly for years and i just didnt know.

I always hear people wince when a movie character rips out their IV and with getting shots/blood drawn the needle coming out feels weird as FUCK so I had assumed removing an IV (especially dramatically like a movie character) would hurt like hell BUT high-key now that I've had an IV for the first time in my life I get the movie characters. Taking it out didn't hurt but having it in hurt crazy style like I'd want that thing out too if I was a disoriented action hero man. Although, they did use something akin to packing tape to keep it in so if an action hero did try to rip the IV they gave me out the tape might take half their skin with it

#it also hurt going in but genuinely the worst pain was just a constant while it was in #which maybe isn't normal now that I'm looking it up LOL #well. we prevail AGSGFJSHGFDHWJHD something to keep in mind if I ever need one again I guess #wait also speaking of tape getting my deviated septum fixed also made me realize I might. be allergic to medical adhesives #IM NOT SURE YET I know I'm not allergic to latex but I have always found that certain bandaids give me rashes #but it was only ever name brand band-aids. nexcare and Walmart generics were fine #but the tape they used at the hospital and even some of the tape I used at home to change my gauze #gave me a wicked rash LOL again tho I found some nexcare brand and I reacted less #so it might just be specific types lmao #my power.........to be allergic to really random shit ❤️#my ability ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

im a big openutauhead over original utau despite starting with the og because the locale switching situation has actually broken a lot of installs of other software/operating systems i use before (probably not an issue for the average person but I'm Special And Talented) and also the open sourceness of OU is a huge benefit (rips off shirt revealing chest tattoo that says I <3 FOSS) BUT. i will say. sometimes my openutau install will break in a way that i just dont know. i just dont know....

(its okay tho im on the beta branch and its foss <3 <3 <3 <3 FOSS FOREVERRRR)

vndb is so useful when looking for niche and specific untranslated visual novels and all that but sometimes the tag system aggressively reminds me it was made with basically only bxg erotic galge in mind

#sometimes it'll throw a 'reverse rape' tag at me and its like thats not. um. well. uh.#terminology is different nowadays. coughs.#but even with the wording of 'hero' and 'heroine' for male and female characters #its an issue some old school romance novel scenes end up with too. the hero/heroine terminology gets messy with like #same sex relationships nonbinary characters etc etc #vndb's hero/heroine tagging system gets Very Difficult To Decipher when u get to otome bl and yuri games #it is what it is. the website has been around for a trillion years and its tagging system while flawed is still all we got rn when like #looking up random 2000s untranslated playstation games or whatever LOL #at least sometimes people use the 'protagonist' tags which helps clear some stuff up combined with relationship tags <3
