This past weekend I wrapped up the fourth walking and socialization class I've been a part of, and most proudly, the first one that I led. Sure, the dogs did great, but most importantly my pride comes from knowing that I can be of service and that every single person in this picture knows those four dogs so much more than when we started. In 6 weeks these dogs went from not being able to be around each other to walking together, meeting new dogs, and overcoming many of the fears that surround their daily lives. Im humbled by the vulnerability that these wonderful owners came with and the knowledge that they're leaving with. I'm grateful for the amazing support crew that is the staff surrounding me, who's talent and compassion helped me carry my voice through to the owners. I'm excited for these four dogs, who leave with a strong foundation and an understanding of what it's like to be in right relationship with their owners; on their path to great growth.
