Exception Raised Possible Fix

Right click on the Wineskin Winery, click Show Package Contents  2. Copy the Wineskin Winery .exe file which is located the MacOS file  3. Go to Applicatioms, The Sims 3  4. Right click, click Show Package Contents  5. Find the MacOS file, place the Wineskin Winery .exe in there  I currently have Late Night, Generations, Pets, Showtime, and Seasons. Please try it even if you aren't upgraded!  EDIT: My game still works! I've played almost everyday since posting this and have had no crashing at all. I have a little lag here and there but over all my game works and I can play! Make sure you download the Wineskin Winery then get the .exe file! I'm pretty sure this is the only way it will work!  EDIT 2: I wanted to include my specs,  Late 2011 MacBook Pro  OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2  2.2 GHz Intel Core i7  4GB 1333 MHz DDR3  Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB/AMD Radeon HD 6750M

Back again! Sims 3. Mac. I get an error that is "Exception Raised: Unhandled page fault to write on page--- "with a bunch of numbers... and do I want to debug it. Yes or No both leads to the game being closed. Any advice?

This is a known Mac problem, which is believed to be similar to a PC crash. Crinrict has some advice about how to possibly deal with the issue here, her post is about the 8th down.

I've written to you guys earlier about my game (Season on a Mac) crashing and the music being faster and higher pitched the next time I start the game after it crashing. I've figured out when it happens. It happens every time I try to adjust any game setting. For example, I wanted to shorten the seasons, and after I resumed the game it crashed and said error would you like to debug it? Another time I tried to adjust my sims Free Will setting and it did the same thing after. Any clues? Lol

The Exception Raised error is like Mac's version of a crash/error and it is hard to figure out what is causing it because it could be a number of things. Off the top of my head I just do not know why changing your settings would cause this. I did find this thread at the EA Mac Support forums. There are some suggestions on how to "fix" it. Some think it is related to custom content? I don't know if you have any but it does not hurt to try and remove it and see if you still have a problem.

EXCEPTION RAISED ERROR!!!

GO DIE!!!

I can't stand it anymore! I can't play the game anymore, this error is just popping up fucking up my stories. I really don't understand why EA hasn't fixed this on going error, they never seem to care to fix errors us mac users face. It's ridiculous! I don't want to have to run bootcamp on my laptop just to play this game smoothly. This game used to play smoothly on my iMac in 09' when the only EP out was WA. Now I can't even play the game without worrying every 5 minutes "SAVE! SAVE! SAVE! YOU MUST SAVE NOW OR THE EVIL EXCEPTION RAISED ERROR WILL RISE AND TERMINATE YOUR GAME" Every time my game seems to lag, I'm on the edge of my seat, eyes wide as plates, scared out of my wits that the error will pop up. 

EA FIX THIS PROBLEM. LIKE FORREALZ!!!!
