Nagaland English interjections :)
Just some Nagamese expressions that keep seeping into people's sentences. I use them too when I wanna sound more friendly and natural haha... Thought I'd make a list ;)

Aiya! - Surprised, defeated, actually applicable in all contexts xd
Na? - Right?, Okay?, You get it?
Na - emphasis
Toh - you see, emphasis
Ya - when something is obvious
Ho... - tired
Aizaa... - oh my, shit, oops, what on earth
Ait! - aishh
Example:
Aiyaa! This toh you should have written beforehand. Aizaa! What's this?! Itu ki likhishe toi (what have you written)... This na, will go here... Ait! I'm so tired of explaining it you... Hopeless ho! Just rewrite, it won't take that long. You want to score good na? Then write. Wait, let me dictate.... Write fast ya!
Edit: My friend tells me aizaa is actually from the Sema language. It's pretty popular though, even among non-Semas.
