Moon & Andy release collaborative album “Sleepless in ______”
Alien’s Moon and CHARM’s Andy have dropped a collaborative album, titled Sleepless in ______! The album is released credited to the collaborative name of Rap Academy. This is Moon’s first music release outside of his group and Andy’s second collaborative project.
Sleepless in ___ has a personal and somber tone throughout, from the eerie phone assistant voice opening the album with “Sleepless” to the distant rolling voice of moon in “Lullaby For A Cat” that closes the album out. Andy and Moon are both listed across the entire track list as members of the creative team on the album, and both rappers have a hand in the lyrics, composition, and production of songs. Three of Andy’s labelmates make features on the album. Lipstick’s Hyeju lends her vocals to track two “In Seoul”, Knight’s Taeyong appears on “Lovedrunk”, and WISH’s Vivienne can be heard on the fifth track, “No Different”.
“Lovedrunk”, the title track of the album, begins as a piano ballad featuring Knight’s Taeyong before opening into a steady rap that stars the main artists of the track, first Moon, and then, later in the song, Andy. The music video is a black and white martial arts mini-drama. Moon and Andy will be promoting the song for a week and b-side track “Eternal Sunshine” will also be staged as an auxiliary stage.
