Back in the country (Australia) and I've been visiting the container regularly in the lead up to Christmas - the original plan was to have it done by the end of the year (well a one month trip to NZ and then work catch up on return has stalled that).

KITCHEN LAYOUT

I've played out the kitchen which was needed to find where on the side wall will need cutting to allow a long "bay marine" window opening so you can look out when doing the dishes (I hat doing the dishes [full stop]. But doing them with nothing but a wall to look at... shoot me). So the return at the end is just short enough to allow about a 50cm gap to walk through to the end of the container, which will opened up with the end wall flipping up (like the back of my van) to extend the roof line while allowing full length ventilation of the container. The return will have a wide bench to allow for a cook top (4 burner already brought as part of the kitchen deal) and an under bench gas oven (also part of the deal).

Along the side wall are draws and shelves for kitchen utensils with the shallow depth cabinet to be raised and hung on the wall for glassware. The gap between that and the pantry (tallest cupboard) is for a fridge. Beyond the pantry is 2 sets for wide draws to store linen and clothes (the bed will be at this end).
