I was a bit in my feels today and did not wake up in time to watch the sun rise as I had planned. Instead I had a nice quiet day with my deities, relaxing and resting as we brought in this new solar cycle. I performed my execrations (red pot and snake cakes) and worked on unpacking my new apartment to bring order to the chaos of moving.

Oh! And as promised; the derpy snake cupcakes from Wednesday! I had my witch group over that night and was thrilled to teach them about this aspect of my practice and my spirituality. They each made their own red pots for today as well.

We're bringing back a classic: Devo's Wep Ronpet Burninatin' Celebration 2023

we took a long ass break, but we're bringing it back this year because i got some things i need to execrate. this is your chance to add anything you'd like into my execration pot for wep ronpet.

you do not need to be a kemetic to participate.

You can send me whatever you want to be execrated. It can be self-destructive habits you want to get rid of, people you want out of your life, political situations or human rights issues you’d like changed, situations you’d like to see an end to- whatever you want. You can be as detailed or vague in your petition as you like (although having some sort of name to attach the execration to can be helpful. f’ex, “destroy the negativity in Jared [URL]’s life” is much more effective than “destroy the negativity in anon’s life”). Please be aware that I am not responsible for the outcome of your choice of what to execrate. All execrations are written down verbatim, so make sure you pick your execration subject/s and wording carefully.

I will be accepting petitions until August 9, 2023. Anything after that will be case-by-case (read: at my sole discretion) only. Your petition can be sent in through any of my various platforms (FB, Tumblr, discord, WP) or via email at devoTTR [at] gmail [dot] com. Just make sure you clarify that your petition is for the execration.

May Execration Rubric

I have learned through the first four months of the year that I did not plan out my first execration rubric very well.
