Yes, it does.

Short answer? It can warp people's perception simply because of the fact that it's fictional. It doesn't need to be real to influence things—and subsequently changing them.

Long answer? How people write about topics, and really anything, can and will shape the veiws on that topic; even if by a barely there percentile. On the topic of fiction affecting reality, I’ll also speak on my shipping stance; which I'm assuming is what you're slightly referring to. If you are glorifying rape/incest/sexual assault/etc, then yes the people that get into that will see those things as positive, or at the very least, "not that bad". To me that is exactly what the entire community does. The best representation of that is the "dark romance" part of booktok, and how they have even come at problems outside of their community. You know the murder trial—I should not have to dumb this down for you. I'm not saying writing about any of those topics is inherently immoral, nor bad, but the line between representation and glorification is a thin one.

This isn't really apart of the topic at hand, but as genuinely disgusting as I think proshipping is, I'm very anti-harassment and anti-censorship. Ship and post about whatever you want, but being able to do that doesn't mean you're free from scrutiny or judgment.
