It is associated with feelings of guilt and inadequacy around one's asexuality or aversion to intimacy, which is the main difference between odissexual and cupiosexual

This can be caused by, and was made in regards to:

➢ Being in a relationship with a partner(s) who experiences sexual attraction and/or is sex-indifferent or -positive
