This will be a full time position based in our client's Manhattan office. The employer does not sponsor visas.Your main responsibility in this position will be managing the software behind the firms Market Data, Execution Algorithms, GUI development, database, compliance, clearing, scripting, etc.As a member of the client's software team you will be get exposure to each component to gain full knowledge of how an electronic trading system operates. The ideal candidate must have previous core Java development experience in financial services, optimizing software performance and multi-threaded programming experience. Exposure to socket/network programming would be a plus.
