Digital collages - conceptual

Ended up simplifying the project a lot for the final product but these were my first drafts for each illustration, taking screenshots from the show and editing them on Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Taking into account my chosen topic “Identity in Film and TV”, my idea for this second project consists on the illustration of the 5 stages of grief - Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance - with 5 of the characters from the show The Haunting of Hill House, the Crain siblings. 

When the show was released on Netflix in 2018, the fans created a theory in which each of the siblings represented one of the 5 stages, theory that was confirmed by the creator of the show. It’s not only a plausible theory, but it was written with that intention. Even the stages are associated with the order of birth of the siblings. After researching a bit about that, I decided to pick up that already existing concept and illustrating it

Tema: Poesia na Grécia Antiga.

Objetivos: Introduzir os conceitos inicias de poesia, conhecer mais sobre suas origens e ler algumas de suas primeiras manifestações, explorando elementos da cultura grega antiga e sua mitologia.

Conteúdo: O panteão grego; o teatro grego; a Poética de Aristóteles; os gêneros teatrais.

Metodologia/Estratégia: Exposição de conceitos iniciais por meio da leitura em grupo dos mitos de origem, em seguida ilustrados por exemplos de poesias escritas durante esse período.

Recursos: Formação de grupos para debate e leitura crítica, onde cada membro buscará um mito ou poesia que o agrade para então compartilhar com os colegas e comentar sobre.

Avaliação: Com o grupo já previamente formado, os alunos deverão eleger a poesia que mais os agrada, e em seguida montar uma breve encenação que a expresse e então justificar sua escolha.
