#exercise binders

I searched the tumblr and saw that you were working on a binder with a light mesh back so it'd be cooler, is that the same as the sport binders you're going to make or a separate one? If its separate about when would that be available to buy?

The binder with a light layer of fashion mesh as the back was one of the sport/exercise binder designs in progress.

Sadly, after tweaking the design and testing it here in-house several times, we have to conclude it’s unfeasible for now. The best we can offer in that vein is a binder with no fashion layer on the back, just a single layer of no-pattern, no-color binding mesh. That, you can purchase now, simply by adding a note to your order.

Hey there, about that Merman binder: Would it be possible to make it water proof? I think that would be awesome to use as a swimming top!

Hiya! Swimming / exercise binders are in fact the next project, after plus-size binders (which I’ve almost got the hang of!). But before I really fine-tune that, here’s the deal.

1) You can paddle around a swimming pool in a binder, preferably a loose binder. It’s not waterproof, but it’s like a swimsuit: cold/cool water will not damage the thing. Have done this with the mer-binder, can confirm it’s fun and looks great underwater.

2) You will need to dry out thoroughly afterwards, and may need the help of someone trusted to peel the damn thing off. It’s harder to do when wet.

3) Any swimming that takes real physical exertion - not recommended!! you may well get out of breath in deep water and then need rescuing.

Hey, I noticed on the website that you were planning on doing swimbinders for summer. I was wondering when you would start taking orders for them? Also, will they be able to be patterned as well? If you haven't figured that out yet it's fine, I just really like the idea of having a merman swimbinder

Hello! I’m thinking I’ll call for models for swimming / exercise binders around mid-to-late May at this point. I really like the idea too ;; so I’m going to make a few for myself while I’m experimenting anyway. And yes, these will definitely be patterned, bc I am of the firm opinion that everything possible should be covered in dragons or rainbows or unicorns or glitter. /aesthetic

For the anon with the exercise question (: I ride horses in a mesh-back binder but that's about it. When I run/ do non equestrian workouts I use the compression sports bra from Underworks because it doesn't compress your whole ribcage and makes breathing easier (it also doesn't get as hot.) I have a pretty low heat tolerance though and I do fairly intense workouts; obviously everyone's different.
