13 June, Today is a Rest Day
Take a walk, go for a bike ride, work in the year and relax. Rest is just as important as the gym workouts. And we workout to be able to do the relaxing things we enjoy. A good full life is more enjoyable then a grind.
I wish there was an exercise program for people who want to be able to pick up and spin around their girlfriend. Like, I know for a fact I won’t be able to do that right now, but I wish there was a program specifically designed to help me get to that goal.
Because that’s it, that’s my goal.
I want to be able to do this to my future girlfriend:
1st weigh in & measurements since starting T25!
Weight was 198.0 last Sunday (so not day 1, but I didnt want to weigh myself again and it's still accurate), today I am at 196.4! 😄
Other measurements I took at noon on the first day.
Chest was 39" | now is 38" (down 1 in)
Waist: 35.5" | 33" (down 1.5!)
Arm: 14.5" | 14" (down .5)
Thigh: 27" | 27" (no change)
Hips: 45.5" | 42.5" (3 inches!!)
Even if part of the loss WAS due to middle of the day vs right in the morning, there is still (I think) real loss because of the good food and exercise this week! This keeps me very motivated for this coming week. We're going to try to get up earlier before work to do the work outs, so I'm hoping I'll still be motivated when the alarn goes off tomorrow 😂
