You want to know what college is?
I'll tell you.
College is attending 7 am lectures you don't care about in your track pants
And trying to get instant noodles within the 10 minutes between 2 lectures because of course there was no time for breakfast
And why opt for instant noodles? Because that's the only thing you can afford right now
It is anxiously waiting while the noodles are being prepared, not sure if you will make it in time
It is fighting the guard to let you in even though it's past the lecture time
It is being successful and rushing in hoping the professor lets you in and doesn't comment on the food in your hand
It is sighing a breath of relief when you realise she isn't even there yet
College is the guy you've never seen or spoken to sitting 4 rows behind you asking you if he could have some of your noodles
It is looking at his sleepy and exhausted face and saying yes because you understand
That's what college is
Doing me a strength.
I started working out again this week. I’m doing a HIIT class three times a week. I started on Wednesday so I went three days in a row. I am exhausted, but glad I did it. Convincing myself to go today was a battle. I was leaving work hungry and tired. I had already decided I wasn’t going. But I ended up driving in that direction. Of course I regretted it within the first five minutes of the workout, but once it was over I was so proud of myself. Also everyone there is super supportive, so I’m really excited about it. Yay!
Pretty much our entire six hour travel day today to North Carolina. #exhasuted https://www.instagram.com/p/CUv5KjxF5iT/?utm_medium=tumblr
