I will never fucking shut up about how the world needs to be more accessible and inclusive to people with disabilities, both mental and physical. Never.

Making things accessible helps literally everyone, for example curb cuts, Velcro, closed captions, automatic doors, THE LITERAL FUCKING KEYBOARD AND DIGITAL MESSAGING AS A WHOLE, but also at the same time— it kind of sucks that we HAVE to put this through the lens of helping everyone for able-bodied and neurotypical people to take us seriously and be willing to even consider change.

Yes, it helps everyone, but our voices deserve to be heard and listened to either way. If it helps disabled people, great!! If it also helps people who aren’t disabled, also great!! But having to make every issue about how it “helps them too” is exhausting and so draining. Is it not enough to care about the people who need it?

Let me be clear, Valentino haters are one thing and understandable, but I do not trust takes from people who don't like Charlie or think that she's poorly written.

It's all poorly repackaged Steven Universe criticism or at this point, blatant misogyny. And it is so, so tiring.
