I mean... the writers for the first three episodes were doing just fine. Damn good, in fact. I’d say Ep 3 made the sin of not giving Nick enough spotlight but they did some good character building and pulled things off well.

Episode 4 is where all the writing went to shit because they wanted to reach a kill quota and then they took Jane, a character with potential, and butchered her. But screw that bitch anyways.
