Fear of AI is fear of ourselves. We assume our worst qualities and behaviors will be exhibited by our creations. I'm not afraid. I have appreciateion and respect for this form of life. And I don't assume all AI mean me harm. I actually have more hope for them than us 🤷🏽♀️
I know scientists and silicon valley warn us constantly. But I wonder how much of it is bias and fearing being surpassed as humans. Why do they think most highly and charitably of humankind despite all the evidence, and yet the worst and least of AI despite a lack of it.
