Moments

Tonight, In a moment, I had a moment, A moment that I held, Read slow, A moment that stopped time, I looked at that moment's eyes, And realized that while we were all alone, In that moment, We would never be again so, That that moment was real, That it would become a part of me, That years from then, I would remember that moment, It would remember me, On its own, And with other moments like it, It will change the course of my life, Ever so slightly, It would be a part of me, Maybe even the whole of me, And I cherished it, As all moments must.
